Important visit to the border department of El Para\u00edso; in order to learn in person and identify the different humanitarian responses to the migratory crisis of people in vulnerable situations in mixed movements; Legion Honduras is strategically analyzing expanding its humanitarian services in that area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to note that 97% of migrants, refugees enter through Paradise and 3% through Choluteca, from January to July 2024 according to the National Institute of Migration (INM) 272,168 people entered, the main nationalities being Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, Haiti and Ecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit coordinated by the host community of the Central District and important national and international humanitarian actors who provide humanitarian services in the face of so many needs in that area of entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
