Early Stimulation for Children

Early Stimulation and Intervention for Children

The Early Stimulation and Intervention Project is a great learning and development opportunity for children up to age 12; it is implemented by Patricia Carolina Cortes, a specialist and master's degree holder in Special Education with more than 10 years of experience in New York State.

It has been implemented since 2021, with a special emphasis on children with Down syndrome and any autism spectrum disorder, with an enormous positive impact on children and their low-income families. Through psychopedagogical evaluations, learning and language development, developmental therapy, literacy training, and physical therapy, among other activities, we have reached many beneficiaries with the individualized educational program for each beneficiary.

All projects and programs of the Honduran Legion are completely free of charge, with the sole condition that the beneficiaries are in vulnerable situations. This is intended to extend the opportunity to those without the financial resources to afford it.
