With great satisfaction and commitment, we will begin next week the legal defense program in the Domestic Violence Courts with the purpose of guaranteeing access to justice, restitution of rights, protection and procedural representation throughout the judicial process through private defense lawyers installed in the court to facilitate professional cooperation at no cost to the beneficiaries.
This important project will strengthen the procedural impetus in trials, prevent impunity for aggressors by breaking cycles of abuse and preventing revictimization, among other things.
The expertise and solidarity of the volunteers continues to build, transform and protect the human dignity of Honduran women in critical or complex times.
