Given the alarming figures of human losses due to traffic accidents, the Honduran Legion launched an initiative as a multiplier to facilitate road safety training and workshops in various schools, colleges, and universities. These workshops aim to foster road safety among drivers, pedestrians, and other road users. Accident prevention and safe travel are essential.

In 2024, more than 9,205 traffic accidents will be recorded nationwide, with 70% being caused by motorcycle drivers. This year, there were 984 human casualties, and according to forensic medicine, 31 minors have lost their lives.

In this sense, it is a matter of great interest for the Honduran Legion to save lives through prevention and to bring awareness to children, youth, and the general population. The support, approval, and ongoing certified training provided by authorities from the National Directorate of Roads and Transportation (DNVT) fills us with satisfaction as we join forces to benefit our community.
